i was tagged by zee to list the 7 things i wanna do in the month of ramadhan..
this is more of a challenge as that's not much that i do anyways, so i'm gonna try to come up with 7..

1) erm to ensure that my prayer is more "sempurna"
2) recite the quran more often
3) i'm also trying to have more patience and tolerance for alot of things..
4) of course, one thing that all girls are looking forward to is losing weight.. (for some reason i'm not in the mood to eat alot for buka unless i didnt hv anything for sahur)
5) i'm also trying to survive on LESSER slp this ramadhan.. (with what little slp i hv in all the other months as well.. haha)
6) i'm also trying to hv more sch work done now that i'm not having lunch during my breaks in school..
7) and last but not least, i guess i'm just trying to appreciate every small detail that i've taken advantage of.. =D

there you go! the kitchen was already cleaned by the next day and there was this notice on the door.. so i guess it's just instant noodles and microwave pasta for me!

but luckily nadia and her aunt came to the rescue!! whee~!
she came over to study and she brought alot of food.. that woman is every so greedy!
heheheh
so i had tandoori chicken, curry(from siti.. malaysian girl) and pakistani rice from nadia's aunt.. heaven!!

TOLONG! ADE API!!!

haha u wish i screamed that!
anyways for people who dont know.. today was the most interesting day so far i'm here in melbourne...
THERE WAS A FIRE ON MY FLOOR AT MY PLACE!

as my place was well-known for their tonnes of false alarms.. AND I MEAN TONNES! i wasnt really bothered cos it happened so many times before.. but as always i will open the door and check if things are alright and whether anyone is bothered abt going down to assemble! so when i opened the door, THERE WAS SMOKE.. AND IT WAS SO THICK!
so i closed the door and at that time nadia was with me too, cos she intended to study at my place and if she had any chemistry qns she can ask me.. anyways so we closed the door and nadia said.. "wet some towels and place them at the gap btwn the doors and the floor.. so that smoke cant get in.."

so we did that and opened the windows.. and i realised that my neighbour might also not bother abt the alarm.. so i called him and told him to check things out and he reckoned that we should go down.. so then we said we'll meet at the door(since he's my neighbour) and then the moment we were abt to step out, smoke started coming in and we rushed into my room cos we didnt know where to go as both ends were smoky! (and as we were taught we have to know where's the fire in order to know which exit to go to)

thankfully the manager heard us talking and shouted for us to get out..
so my frd asked, "which way to we go to?"
manager: "come to this end and keep low guys!"

so me and my friends (which includes the neighbour) started bending low and running to the other end to get out of the building.. it was SO SMOKY that even if we were to crawl, by the time we get to the exit, we would have inhaled alot of smoke..

i inhaled abit of smoke that i started choking and coughing.. even after i was out.. bcos it felt as if something was stuck in my throat..

so we went to the assembly place and it was freezing! the only thing i grabbed was my phone and my key.. i didnt even think of bringing a jacket.. and it was like around 15 deg i reckon.. and i was just wearing A TEE SHIRT! so we were left standing at the carpark (the assembly place) for quite awhile and then we were told that 1st and 2nd floor resident is not allowed to go back up yet while the rest can.. (i'm on the 2nd floor)

so they told us to wait in the restaurant area and drink was served and some fingerfood..
so i just took a glass of coke since i couldnt eat the fingerfood.. as it had meat in it..

we waited for quite long before we were told that we can proceed to out rooms.. i think all in all.. we were kept out from our rooms for abt 3 hours?

and guess wad i was doing when all these happened?!
1st. my clothes were in the washing machine
2nd. i was preparing to cook, i cut onions and had all the fish and veggie out, i also had macaroni boiling in the microwave..
and all this while i was only worried if the sprinklers in the rooms would be activated(cos my books are all on the floor) and whether the clothes will be stained, having been soaked for so long..(cos i'm sure that the electricity would be cut off when the fire started.. and my clothes are in the middle of their spin in the washing machine! )

so yeah.. there goes my interesting day and now i'm so tired!
my clothes are soaked that i had to run the dryer twice!
and when i got to my room, my room smelled of onion cos i was cutting them and preparing to cook!

so yeah that's abt it
and now i dont think i can cook for the next few days!
and i've so much to do now that a couple of my hours were wasted..

but i'm fine all!
