Staying abroad really changes a person.
Being in that position now, I’d have to agree.
Be it change towards the better or in some cases, to worse.
More often than not, there will be a balance between the change towards the better and the worst.
People could change to be more introverted/extroverted
Some would actually turn out to be more independent. But there are some who don’t, as they tend to rely on the very people who are there around them.
I’m not saying that it’s bad, because I get it that it’s just human nature to some people to just not have a care in the whole wide world.
The list goes on and on.
As for me, I’ve become to be slightly introverted, be more independent and to not take anything for granted.
But I have to say, I have to thank Him and my parents for giving me the opportunity to study and live abroad on my own, to find my path and to improve myself as a person, in character and in faith.
Sone of you might wonder why I seem to be in a very “low” mood.
I’m actually fine, it’s just one of those days where u wish u could be home and be surrounded by familiarity, because that’s so many things here that are so unfamiliar and needs a lot of getting used to.
I miss home.
But other than that, I’m fine. =)
