hello guys!
please be warned that this will be a very LONG post..
so this post will really be like a summary of what i've been up to during the few weeks break i had in between semesters.
first week or so was spent at cicik's house..
didnt do much cos cicik was working and so i just slacked and watched tv at her house..
but we did smth though..
we baked PARMESAN AND BASIL MUFFINS..
it may sound weird but it's actually quite nice!

After spending slightly more than a week at cicik's place, a frd of mine from NZ is coming down to melbourne for a holiday. so i decided to go back to my house a few days before the weekend, to do some cleaning of the house etc before having a weekend full of fun..
but as it turns out..
didnt take alot of time to clean the house and then i became bored during the weekends, one of the days when i didnt meet up with my frd.. so i decided to make COOKIES!
and hey1 i made them from scratch ok! not from those instant mixed in packed boxes!

so i've been going on about meeting my frd from NZ and u guys dont know who i'm talking about.. so this is him.. and i'm sure you guys know DAVID ONG.. hahahha =P
anyways so that was pretty much 1.5 weeks gone from my 3 weeks break..
but no.. me and the girls decided to go out for a small reunion since we havent seen each other much!
so we went for dinner at an indonesian restaurant and then we had dessert and of course hot chocolate since it was freezing!

towards the later half of my 2nd week of holidays, nisa offered me to come and stay over at her cousin's place.. since her cousin just gave birth about a week ago, she was quite busy and all an figured she could use the company and the help.. and since i needed to do a child observation assignment for one of my subjects, i went ahead to the far side of melbourne. it's even further than cicik's place.. ahahha
so it was fun there.. met a couple of other singaporean malays and it was very comforting i should say..
below is the little girl who i observed while i stayed over at her place..
on top of sitting home and playing nanny to this little girl.. me and nisa brought her out when we went SHOPPING.. nisa shopped till she dropped while i got a couple of tee-shirts as well.. and surprisingly it was fun and not that scary to bring her out shopping.. and mind you it was just me, her and nisa.. her parents were at home..

anyways on the day that we were supposed to go back to BUNDOORA, we decided to tag along to a kenduri of one of her cousin's frds.. it was more of like a kenduri cukur rambut for their newborn.. and it is so weird that most of their frds have children around the same age.. hahaha
so we went and towards late evening we decided to leave and her cousin-in-law drove us back to bundoora..
as we were leaving, the mother of nisa's cousin's frd gave us a packet of food each.. cos she was so scared that we will not have food to eat should we feel lazy to cook for ourselves! heheheh
alhamdulillah..
so that was pretty much what i did for my 2 weeks break in btwn semester and i realised towards the end that it was a bust holiday! and i was actually thinking of having a laid-back holiday.. i guess not! HAHAH
and on the last week, which is the 3rd week, i had to attend uni as i had compulsory attachment..
so that was pretty much it..
BUT NO! after that one week of clinical attachment..
we decided to head up to one of melbourne's alpine MOUNTAINS to experience snow..
the last weekend before uni started again..
so we went with the MALAYSIAN STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION.. so that would be about close to 30 to 40 people..
some brought along their kids and some brought along other frds.. which of course included me..
seeing that i'm not a malaysian.. hahaha
it was great fun.. experiencing the SNOW and getting to slide down the slopes and also have snowballs fights.. and not forgetting the SNOWMAN! although ours looked kinda retarded.. =P

and i've also got to go get lunch..
my stomach's grumbling for food..
